Best way to get a timber stand appraised

Should I just call around to some timber companies and see what it would cost for them to have a guy come out walk it and appraise it? There's 2 / 3 lumber mills around the area of the property would they have a guy that would come and do that?

I never got paid specifically to cruise. Always did it before submitting bids. What's your email, and I'll send you a guy's info that can either do it or set you up with someone who can? I also have a buddy that might be able to do it, but I haven't spoken to him in years, so idk
