Supporting docs?

She definitely helped him with In Cold Blood. They were lifelong friends. They were much more coy about how much Capote (Dill) might have helped Harper (Scout) tell her story in writing Mockingbird.
He was prolific and she wasn't. That is the source of the rumor, anyway.
RIP, regardless, to what seems to have been a nice Southern lady.

If there's one lesson that we can learn from To Kill A Mockingbird, it's that supporting documents pale in comparison to the power of friendship and believing in yourself.

I had always heard that, so I spent some time researching it for myself (Yes, I have no life )
Came to the conclusion that while they were buds, she most likely was 90% responsible TKAM.
I chalk it up to "everybody's got a book in 'em".

Billy was a simple country boy. You might say a cockeyed optimist, who got himself mixed up in the high stakes game of world diplomacy and international intrigue

You really couldn't care less about an amazing story that taught countless readers the importance of self reliance and love of nature? You're a real a-hole.

You're such a badass dude! Hey everyone, look at this guy! He doesn't care! You are a unique rebel, thanks for letting everyone know that you don't care.

I heard it differently. I heard he was a city boy - born and raised in South Detroit. He left town in the middle of the night - destination anywhere.

The real question is why do you care about an old lady who may or may not have written a book that you probably never read. And who did write a really shitty book that I guarantee you haven't read.

Everyone has read that book, it's a driving factor in most people's capitalist beliefs.
