Morning! I am heading to Frisco to pick up a few things at Ikea for my better half this Saturday. Looking to grab a bite to eat and a pint before heading back. Any recs on food with a nice beer selection in the area?

First tip . . . never refer to it as 'Frisco while out there.

Hah, yes sorry. Frisco, TX.
That would be a long arse day trip to San Francisco to go to ikea.

Whiskey Cake is in Plano. Not in Frisco but pretty close with about a 10 minute drive. Good food and beer/whiskey selection.

Meh, it's not bad. I-20 is 75 now and hitting the loop on a Saturday morning won't be bad.

Thanks for the Rec. Looks like The Londoner and 3 stacks are in order.

Whiskey Cake is pretty good. That's about all I know in that area.
There are places around Stonebriar and Shops at Legacy too. Around the IKEA area.

While at 3Stacks, get the cheesy corn bake. You won't be disappointed

Look at Taphunter and website menus. Is it sad that I am more excited just to seek out a place that has fresh Firestone Walker Pivo Pils?

If beer is your main priority, go to world of beer in Plano. 10-15 minutes from IKEA. They have over 500 different beers. Food is good, not great, but certainly not bad at all.
3 stacks has great BBQ and a shite ton of taps. It's pretty close to IKEA too. Maybe 10 minutes away.
The brass tap is a place that just opened in Allen off the SRT, maybe 15 minutes from IKEA. lots of taps obviously, and pretty decent food.
Whiskey Cake is good too, fresh, organic shite is their motto. Not sure on their beer selection though.
The ginger man at the shops at legacy in Plano, 5 minutes from IKEA, has a ton of taps too, never had their food, but there's plenty of other food options at the shops. For food there I'd recommend Mexican Sugar. More classical Mexican than Tex mex and it's delicious.

Only thing that would make this better is if there was a baseball game.
