2016. The year of no excuses. Tons of momentum for the Tigers going into this season.

Peveto just finished sixth nationally in the 247 Sports recruiter rankings . . . and he’s likely now the fourth-best recruiter on LSU’s staff.

Agreed.

Les has so far done what we hoped he'd do. The real proof will come in a few months…

Also, some rantards may not like Moscona, but most normal Tiger fans do. He's been a significant upgrade over other local sports talk guys we've had, and his ratings prove it.

With the talent that Louisiana has in the 2017 class, coupled with the GHA talent, and the hiring of Juluke and Craig, 2017 could shape up to be better than 2016, in terms of recruiting.

Couple that with a national championship in 2016, and the current staff of ace recruiters, and LSU could bring in talent even we haven't seen before.

Hard to believe 2017 could top simply bc the state is not nearly as deep with elite players, regardless how good the staff or 2016 season is. 2018 looks to be better overall in the state.

I agree 100%. Despite our early success last year, many on here had posted numerous times that 2016 was the year for LSU and they were too young in 2015.

Gonna be fun to watch this team play!

Great read but what the heck is up with the poll at the bottom of the article? I don't even see LSU as a selection to vote for.

Alabama
Clemson
Oklahoma
Baylor
Michigan
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Florida State
Stanford
Tennessee

The article doesn't really say anything new. It just says what everybody wants to hear. Therefore, it's "great."

Saying stuff like, Frank is gone and Les is still here, the program is doomed, is the same shite we read on here everyday.

So what is it he's supposed to say? Because pretty much everything gets rehashed on here.
