When Michigan is dumb enough next week to hire Miles and Nebraska is dumb enough to hire Pelini, LSU needs to let Crowton coach the bowl game and then zero in on Jason Garrett, the Cowboys OC. He went to Princeton and had a long NFL career with marginal talent. His dad was an NFL coach, he has seven siblings, close-knot family, and Troy Aikman recently said that regardless of the type of business, he would want Garrett running it.

Most people on the board seem to think Garrett is being groomed for the Cowboys HC job.

He's the next Cowboys coach, it is a done deal. No chance he comes here.

Who knows--maybe he would rather have a top notch college job. The Cowboys may go deep into the playoffs, but he'd be worth the wait.
