It kind of ruins the mood trying to watch that trailer when i have to watch The Land Before Time trailer first.

Ok.

I have a question about the Batman v Superman trailer.

What does he say at the end? "Do you know what the oldest lie in America is?"

Power can be ________

innocent?

If I hadn't already seen several Batman and Superman movies, I'd be pumped for this one.

Bruce: Look at him. Superman. A global threat. A dangerous alien.

Clark: *brings flowers to Lois*

Clark: *snuggles in the bathtub with Lois*

Bruce: HE'S A DANGER I GOTTA FIGHT HIM--

There's also a rumor that WB is concerned about the movie
Word is that if Batman V Superman doesn't make 1 bil, expect HUGE changes in the DCU.

Yep, I agree. I think WB is scared about this film doing MOS numbers. I'm a big supporter of MOS but theres no doubt it underachieved. 600+ million is a low total for such an iconic character. If BvS makes a billion everything will be fine. But if it does somewhere between 600-800 million then Snyder needs to start researching some other projects

If it doesn't make a billion then I could see JL being pushed back and WB hitting the panic button and focusing on Batman.

I just want to see Under the Red Hood live action. Imagine watching a Rated R brutal live action scene of Joker beating Todd almost to death with a crowbar.

But the SJWs would complain that their kids can't see a Batman movie just like they did with Deadpool.

But....I WOULD GO CRAZY IF THEY ACTUALLY MADE THE MOVIE!

If Deadpool does very well and this bombs and we end up with an R rated badass Batman movie, would anyone even be upset that they messed up this movie?

Affleck is at his heart a comic book nerd. I'm excited to see him play the role. As for his acting chops, dude was the bomb in phantoms, yo.

It bothers me that none of yall responded to this.

What is the likelihood that this doesn't do a billion? I'm no box office expert, but the range that has been floating around in my mind has been 1.1-1.3 billion. But what do I know?

I think Affleck will be the best thing about the movie. Even if it does better than projected they'll still be scrambling to make a standalone Affleck Batman movie.

You guys railed for a long time that DCU could do its own thing and they didn't need a template?

I love this "Oh, shite!" moment from Superman in the trailer.
