Supposing that Miles goes to Michigan, what are everybody's thoughts about throwing a boatload of cash at Bill Cowher?

Yeah, the offense might be a bit vanilla at times, but, by God, I'm pretty sure our defense would play like the top defense in the country.

I WISH!! But no way he would come here! Cowher will only coach the PROS.

Can you imagine Cowher in a recruits living room trying to convince a mother to send her son to play at LSU.

he is definitely worth a shot if it comes to it. People here would love him and he wouldn't have the pressure of the pros.

Why would an NFL guy want to coach college, when he can make twice the money in the pros? No Saban has proven he is not a NFL guy.

look at Pete Carrol. Several mill a year. Not the pressure of hte pros. It can actually be fun and you get to actually teach and develop the players.

Cowher is way overrated. He pissed away a many a good seasons for the Stillers over his love affair with Stewart.

He kept his team in the AFC Champeenship game on a regular basis despite repeatedly losing top players to free agency. He did the most with a little.

Two words: Charlie Weiss

Charlie Weiss is a strategist who never played the game at a high level (even college). Therefore he lacks knowledge of the fundamentals of football.

Coweher on the other hand has been playing and coaching at the highest level for his entire career.

Weiss was a ballboy.
