Poor FT %
Sloppy turnovers
Poor shot selection
Inability to win a close game.

The talent level is better this year, but the same problems we saw in Jones' first year are still plaguing LSU.

Our players were Abysmal today. I just have no idea how ou can blame that on Jones

Aside from Blakeney.
Seems like he was he only one who cared

How was it his fault that his PG's kept turning the ball over?

I'm sorry but nobody will ever convince me that missed free throws are in the coach. It is literally the player the ball the rim. Make the shot if you can't make it practice it more. You should not need the coaches to tell you that if you go to school for free to play basketball.

I won't pin tonight's loss on CJJ, but if he doesn't make the tourney this season, he should be a gone pecan.

How in the hell can you sell recruits with the statement, "Yeah, we had the #1 overall pick and missed the big dance, but...."

LSU is not a poor FT% shooting team even though they were awful tonight.

You can look at the schedule to see that we've won several close games this year.

I feel like this is a pretty cheap thread when LSU lost a road game against a good team that was favored to win.

When your 50+ years old you don't usually change or improve much most people have peaked and are costing by that point.

Nope - he is not a great bench coach- he is a great recruiter (see CLM in football)

At least CLM has won some championships

When the camera is on him he leaves the impression of a coach with no answers. I hardly see him coaching when the ball is in play.

Unfortunately you get what you get with JJ...but I will say that LSU basketball is better today than it was 5 years ago...regardless of the reasons.

Yes, many of the issues above could be improved with better coaching....but I'm always amused when people bring up free throws in the same conversation as coaching...making and missing shots (whether it's an open 3 pointer or a free throw) has very little to do with coaching.
