Are you suggesting that Big Foot is an insect or plant hybrid creature? I am unfamiliar with this theory but it sounds interesting.

well, I'm not a fan nor do I follow
but dad was quite interested, and he told me, he
read an Indian legend, about little moons would come down from the sky, and let out the "crazy bears"
for my money, I'll take the word of an indian legend over some drunk yahoos
I think there's something to it, but I really don't go lookin for info...
I think they're demonic in nature

Saw something on the Honey Island Monster the other night. It was pretty convincing.

How many of these undiscovered species are 10' tall 500 lb creatures that cross roads and such?
At least 1.
Seriously, most either live deep in the ocean or are insects or obscure plants, but it's kind of sort of possible. There have been great ape species that have been discovered as recently as 100 years ago. I'm not holding my breath though.

Big foots/sasquaches are aliens. So, that explains everything.

This is not true at all. In the south, yes. But in the Midwest/Northwest, not even close.

Most of the world's species remain undiscovered by science. Biologists have described and classified 1.7 million plants and animals as of 2010, less than one-quarter of the total species estimated in the world. Scientists figure there are still over five million species waiting to be found.
I call bullshite. Is this just a number scientists arbitrarily pull ou of their asses?
"I know that we've classified 1.7 million species, Dr. Quack, but there has to be at least 6.8 million species out there."
Science!

Humans have been discussing Big Foot for thousands and thousands of years.
Why would they lie?

How long have humans been discussing the Earth being flat?

This idea that we know everything about every animal that exists on this earth is hogwash. There are massive, minimally explored, uninhabitef, and inaccessible regions just in America alone. It takes a certain level of hubris to denounce the possibility outright when there is so much eye witness testimony. There are regions of this nation less explored than the surface of the moon. We have discovered dozens of species thought to have been extinct for thousands, even millions of years, still alive in the deep ocean.
We are just now realizing how much we don't know abput our planet. It was not that long ago that kampodo dragons and mountain gorillas were dismissed as local legends.
