Officially set the cable cancelation date for the end of the month. I have been using the fire stick for a long time now. Going from $200 to $70 and keeping the same internet speed. I feel at peace in my decision since I use it more than cable. I'm good with streaming any games and all the cable channels are available. Now I'll just need to get a good HD antenna and skim through this thread.

what antenna do you use? im having a hard time envisioning where I would connect it, it seems all my coax gathers outside where it hooks up to my directv dish...

Do they all run through your attic and meet up and a certain point? If so, you can tie them all into a splitter and connect the other end of the splitter to the antenna. That is how my setup works. Antenna to splitter, splitter to all rooms in my house.

I'm sure they do, guess i just need to get in my attic and poke around. my house is elevated though, so they may just go from dish to under the house...

I have that one and I think it is a piece of shite. I live in About 3/4 mile from FOX and about 3 miles from NBC. It takes wizard-like skills to place it in the absolute spot where I can catch them at the same time. I've circled my house with it, tried it with and without the amplifier, and it just sucks. I will be getting a different one before football season starts.
