I thought it was a catch until Mike Carey said that he thought it was a catch. Then at that point I knew it was going to stand

I get that, and that used to be my theory on it, but each person has a different definition. I think the sport owes it to its players to define it. You have heard them complain what is or is not control. The sport owes us, the fans nothing.
I did not care if it was a catch a non catch, I would just like to know what those are again.

You mean the obvious incompletion where the ball hits the ground, moves and then he regains control?
Some people really are blind.
This right here. When he rolls over the ball is moving then he gains possession. I don't know what everyone else is seeing how do you not see that.

This sounds like a lawyers wet dream.

I am waiting for SFP to come in here so he can help, so legalese may bait him to show up
But seriously, I just wished it would be more consistent from crew to crew and that is why I think they need to come up with a definition.

Hahaha. That type of play they have been calling incomplete all year, get over it, pass was incomplete.

I'd like to think the NFL has a video library of examples of catch v no catches to demonstrate.
Also this is another reason why a central review location would be best. You would have only a small handful of guys making calls. It would be consistent.

Ball touches ground, starts to move towards his side and back. Ground caused movement, incomplete.
