Let's be honest. Was there any doubt how he would handle and conduct himself if he was faced with the situations he had to face during and after the game?
Literally everyone that lives outside of Auburn or the Carolinas could have predicted how he would act on the field, sideline, and press conference after the game if things weren't going his way.
We all knew how fake he was and that the real Cam Newton would appear once some adversity hit him. Poor body language, giving up on the team, walking out on his press conference... all of it. He claims that he's having fun because it's just a game, but it's all fun when you're winning. We see the real you when things don't go your way.
He acted exactly how I expected he would, to a T.

He's not elite.
Bottom line. Elite QBs don't crumble like he did. That lack of effort will forever be remembered.
He had a GREAT season, but outside of this year has been mediocre. People were crowning this guy. Anyone that talked shite on Cam was racist or a hater. This is hilarious. Elite QBs are those that are great year after year. I'd say Brady, Rodgers and Brees fit this category. Peyton is obviously done or else he'd be in this too. Big Ben, Wilson are on the cusp. Wilson will be elite as soon as next year IMO. Cam just isn't as good as these guys.

Dude, people consistently questioned if Rodgers could win the big one, even during his SB season since the team that year went 8-8.
Big Ben on the cusp?
They're crumbling against that D, especially if they can't scramble.

18 of 41 with 3 turnovers. Anyone know the QB rating on that garbage?

Peyton put up some stinkers in the Super Bowl before and he's considered elite. Cam didn't play well, but common sense can't go out the window because you don't like the guy. That d-line played a brilliant game.

Except for the fact Ben went 24-37 for 339 yards against them with a fricked up shoulder and no Antonio Brown.

Man don't start this again . You would have been on meltdown alert had they won yesterday.
Plenty of elite QBs have had terrible games in the SB. Denver's defense is just amazing.
Now his childish antics at the end of the game and at the post game press conference are really unacceptable. He's showed decent leadership, but that just pathetic. And don't even get me started on him staring at that fumble, might lose some support in the locker room over that one.

One game doesnt wipe away an entire season of taking mediocre offensive talent and putting up MVP numbers.
He deserves the mvp

Ben torched Denver TWICE, the second time without Antonio Brown.
We're not even having this discussion if Brown played at Denver because Denver doesn't win that game.

Elite QBs have more than one good season. Agree or disagree?

That's right about where Newton's stats would have been with receivers that could catch.
Martavis Bryant, Wheaton, and Bey are still better than anything Carolina is trotting out there. Especially after Brown went down. Jericho Cotchery was an abomination last night.

Depends where they are in their career.

Well Cam has the best 5 year start to a career of any QB in history so there's that...
