Will Johnny Jones eventually get his team over the hump in big games?

#1 UK last year outscored 11-3 in final 6 minutes
NC State in the tourney, Outscored 16-3 in last 8 minutes
Yesterday, Outscored 17-10 in final 5 minutes.
I have never been more frustrated watching basketball games than those three mentioned (except Pels-GS Game 3). We have shown numerous times we can play with anybody, but until we close out a big time opponent, I don't know that a JJ team will get over the hump. We're going to make the tourny, hopefully we win a close game against A&M in two weeks and this team can learn how to finish games before march because they can and will be dangerous

Yeah I know. Just gunna start watching with 4 minutes left, almost every game they play is won or lost there

It's maddening to sit there and watch this team and KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT...they will blow the lead at the end. Knew it was gonna happen last night....just a matter of when.

They have closed games much better this year than they did last year. This past week was just the abnomaly imo. I think vs OU got in their heads and they played tight.

We've been talented for three years and barely made the tournament last year. We all know how that ended up. He needs to be shown the door if we can't win a couple tournament games this year. I for one don't feel real confident about even making the dance.

Its almost as though Oklahoma had the best shooting guard in the country scoring at will... Damn Johhny and his ability to make other teams players so good
