How so? OSU went down for tattoos. I'd think scholarship reductions and perhaps a post-season ban could be possible if it is anything severe.
There is little reason to have faith in the NCAA's consistency, but its funny that in the last 5 years the NCAA has gone from being too harsh (USC, Penn State) to being too lenient (Miami, UNC). You never know what you're going to get with them.
FTR, I'm not saying they were truly too harsh on USC or Penn State, but that became the public perception of those penalties.

Ole Miss has known for months most likely. They were also most likely hoping the NCAA wouldn't have any leaks until after signing day. Unfortunately, this just ran.

Just read 7 page thread on ole miss board. They aren't worried about the NCAA at all. Almost every single post in that thread is laughing at this.

It's hope, nothing more. If they were honest the comments would be very different. It will have impact, the only questions are how bad & for how long. This has potential to be a lot worse than the ULL fiasco.

If the allegations run through multiple athletic programs, is there something like failure to maintain control that is more severe offense than just a one sport violation? Seems like I remember something like this in the former USCw investigation.
