Heim BBQ in Fort Worth is cranking out incredible food.
Hashknife on the Chisolm in Peadenville, TX is Top 5 for me, as well.

Can be hit or miss.
Big fan of their brussel sprouts, beef ribs and marrow.
Hard to beat the atmosphere, though.

I'm a sucker for the dry ribs at Rendezvous.

i would say it definitely depends on what you're getting:
- pork butt
- brisket
- burnt ends
- texas sausage
- ribs
- chicken
etc.
no one place is the best at all those.

NO WAY. this is some of the worst bbq i've ever had. sorry i drove 120 miles from nashville for some dried out chicken & greasy white sauce.
he may be great on the BBQ circuit, but i found his bbq joint sorely lacking. would not go back.

Burned down a few years ago though.
They have one in the adjacent town of Portland now. Went a while back.
I prefer Rudy's in Corpus Christi, TX area. Mac's in Gregory is also a good one in the area. I've heard that Hatfield's in Rockport is good as well.
