REB Jr says he just heard a turkey gobble over by his stand. Seems a little early in the year.

What do the turkey hunters think? He said he heard some hens clucking too.

Not unusual. I've heard random gobbles during deer season and sitting on the porch in July. But they obviously gobble more, and for different reasons, in the Spring.

ETA: My seat was wet so now I'm cold even with all these clothes.

Thanks guys.

We just started having turkeys the last few years here so I'm not real familiar with their ways.

The biggest complaint about millenium stands is the mesh seat. arse never gets warm as long as cold air circulates under it
