It's gonna get worse. Hopefully it returns soon for some. Glad I finally got something. Wasn't feeling normal

Things that make me glad my house in Lafayette sold quickly. I got out of there just in time.

The amount of people on here that are happy with the misfortune of other Americans is disturbing.

Unemployed people are not great for economies. Banks that don't get paid back are not great for economies. People not buying things are not great. People without health insurance and cannot afford healthcare suck for economies. People not paying taxes is not great for economies or for government.

The O&G industry is the largest spender on capital projects which hits many other industries like construction and industrial distributors.

It will impact everyone. To bad they are not banks or they would be getting a bailout.

This same thing happened when Faberg'e hit the lows with Brut cologne. All of the employees lived way beyond their means and smelled exceptionally cool during the up times. Eventually, liquid gold always tarnishes...

There are already 100s of oil field hands doing this now. Good luck.

Laid off last April. Had a job lined up in PA working in a shop and also going set plugs on location. 2 days before I started I broke my jaw and lower cheek. Missed out on that due to surgeries to fix my jaw. Wired shut 6 weeks and then came back south. Just got a job today with a steel fab company like I was doing 10 years ago.

Yep. My oilfield friends have been getting laid off for a year now. So, maybe the economy has been able to absorb many of these jobs as it has happened over a year versus price of oil dropping over night.

Hopefully. Some of my last co workers had multiple wives to feed. God bless them humanitarians.

Can't imagine what I should do to help the late 20's across the street from my poor mom in ETx. Offer clothes? Canned Goods? Buy his boat, Can Am, 5th Wheel or dually?

Anyone know what I should do for charity?
