Here to say the man went about this the right way. Just last year would tell you that. No asking him about it after the game, no pool boy sources, no rumor mill tweets/reports, no attitude, he just kept it on the down low and DID HIS JOB. What a difference a year makes in that situation. Didn't hear a thing about it UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. Post game news conferences, celebrations, etc. Guy might have got 70 hung on him in a bowl game, but it wasn't last night against the #2 offense in the nation. You gotta do what's best for you and your family in life, but also there IS a way to go about things, and he did it with class and put LSU first. Good luck coach Steele (except when we play you )

I see where you're going with this, but I'm not congratulating a coach leaving the program.

This Steele praise is fricking pathetic. He was terrible and should not be praised for beating an overmatched team on his way out. I would say Miles should be praised after his eye-opening experience a few weeks ago. Maybe he actually prepared the team with some passion for a change.

Have we reached the point where we're thanking coaches for walking out on us and going to a western division rival?

I'll miss his blitz packages with guys moving around pre-snap, something we never saw under Chavis

I won't miss us giving up 20+ points in every single game

I'll second that - the DEF prep and execution for the bowl game was spot on! No rumors, no distractions, just hard-nosed football. Props to him IRT how it was handled.

Now let's either promote coach O, or find a impact hire to keep moving fwd towards signing day, spring practice, and a NC 2016 season!

Yep. His defense showed up ready to play when quite obviously, his mind was also on other things.

Good, insightful post. It's also Miles' way of doing things - quiet, professional, respectful. Whatever you want to say about wins and losses, we can be proud of the way Coach Miles handles things. Want to wonder about Chavis.

Meh. frick Kevin Steele. I can't wait to play Auburn next year and expose his mediocre arse.
