According to reports, Peveto had coached linebackers all season while Steele free lances between positions. Peveto is a very good linebackers coach. Special teams, not so much!

Not a big fan of Steele. All season long and Even in the win last nigh he has players out of position and looking clueless at times. The d has won on talent, not his coaching. Would much rather coach O.

Promote O to DC, Peveto to LB coach and Raymond gets a pay raise.
This might be why coach O really stayed.
I know one thing, LSU will never lack in depth on the front 7. You saw how much rotating he did last night placing guys all over the DL, LSU is going to be awesome on defense next year!

Not a Steele fan, but he seriously could have recruited 1 guy to the team and would be considered a better recruiter than Chavis.

We would probably benefit from co-DC's. It would be nice to see coach O and/or Raymond as a DC. If we go co-DC's, they can come up with the overall Defensive game plan and still have time to tune up their position coaching.
