Curious, if it was a known fact that the kid reached for his waistband and gun (that we know in hindsight to be fake), would you still not feel the shooting is justified?
It would depend on the exact details, but that would be a huge change, IMO.
The current narrative of the known-incompetent, weepy POS cop is that they rolled up on the scene and told him several times to drop the gun. At this point, the kid reached for his own gun and the known-incompetent, weepy POS cop shot him.
Go watch the video. There is no sound. It truly appears that there is no way there was enough time for all of this to happen. It is virtually instantaneous.

There's so many issues.
1 - If an officer is deemed unfit for duty, why is he on duty?
2 - Why was the info about it most likely being a fake gun not relayed to the officer(s)?
3 - Why was Tamir walking around a park aiming a toy gun (without the orange safety feature on it) at people? Why did he reach for it when the police showed up? (looks like he did per the photo I posted)
What a lot of people are focusing on, is the officers having little to no time to react, whereas it looks as if Tamir saw them driving up. He had more time to think about his actions than they did, and he decided to reach for his gun.
