That doesn't perpetuate the desired narrative, that a bunch of racist white cops are preying upon innocent little black children.

Hell, even if they did show it so people could clearly see that it is indistinguishable from a real firearm, it wouldn't matter. Just look at this thread for examples of the utter lack of brain power and common sense in use here. That's why "hands up, don't shoot" is still being parroted about, even though it's been proven (through witness testimony and physical evidence) that Michael Brown did NOT have his hands up nor was he surrendering.

Looks like he is reaching to me.

In either case, if people are saying the video is unclear, how can you definitively say he "wasn't" reaching?

Having a police officer on duty that has been deemed unfit for duty is one thing. But taking the shooting into account on it's own merit, I don't see how murder charges can be brought with 100% certainty that it was murder.

They did show it back when it happened as well as saying the orange identification was missing.
