No

Lots of negative energy at LSU right now. I look for any 3rd year player that has the faintest hope of making the NFL to leave early.

I don't think his quickness comes close to measuring up as a traditional 3-4 OLB.
I'd be surprised if the scouts view him is a guy who has a high upside as a pass rusher in the NFL.
If he is so terrible, like you and most others on here claim, why is everyone wanting him to come back? It's called conflict of interest. Most of those claiming to be looking out for his best interest, could care less about him or his future. It is their selfish desire to be entertained by the best team possible. Conversely, he is truly looking out for his own best interest and will make the best decision possible, after gathering information about his draft status. He is the one who must live with his decision. Should he return and is badly injured, will any of you guys replace the money he would lose. Hell, no. You'd forget about him before the start of the next season. He'd be up shite creek if he relied on anyone here to make such a critical decision for him. It's a multi-million dollar decision that some here feel they are in a better position to make on his behalf. Come on man!!!

He's not terrible. It should have been very clear that I was referring to his NFL potential.

That's probably true for some. But, I was having a honest discussion about what his NFL prospects were. And, I don't think they are good. I don't think he's be drafted in the top 5 rounds...and probably wouldn't be drafted at all.

There is very little, if any to lose.

One of us is wrong with our evaluation of Neal. If it's me, and he really could get a multi-million dollar deal, then he should very seriously consider the NFL.
My opinion is that he is an undersized (height, weight, length) guy who, if you had to label him, would be considered an effort guy. I like him. I hope he comes back next year. Either way, I wish him the best.

Will bookmark for when he turns out to be a good NFL player. This will be a fun bump in four years!

Freak did not get drafted. What a comparison. Freak still playing? I know the Dolphins cut him.

45 of 98 under classmen went undrafted in 2015
That's like the flip of the coin - not good odds- such odds if players passed Math 101 should then cause less underclassmen to attempt to jump this year....
However then you have agents screwing with these players' minds with the potential big bucks $$$$ yet such agents don't have an education to lose like the players do....
Finally, with odds like that Les should put his gambling hat on, educate players and try to counter the agents 'BS cause he promised all the players' moms he would help secure their educations ,RIGHT?...

looks quick enough to me. High motor player as well. Long arms, good leverage. NFL likes those guys in that spot.

Neal is a nice college D end. He needs another year in school without a doubt. If he leaves early, I wish him the best but it will be a big time mistake. Hope he is smart and gets another year of work under Orgeron.

Yeah, looks like an NFL player to me also. Don't know his 40 time but he looks plenty fast on the field and has a knack for getting to the QB. Elite pass rushers like him are at a premium in the NFL these days.
