96.1 still playing Christmas music!!!

Normally they stop at midnight. I like the change.

And can you believe chicken still has the lights up!?!? I mean if you haven't taken down/finished up all your Christmas stuff by 8am on the 26th you must be trashy as hell rite!?

I really wish this station ( well everyone actually) would let the holidays progress naturally- Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas- as opposed to launching Christmas music, decorations, sales, etc. the dat after Labor Day. We don't even get to enjoy Halloween or Thanksgiving because the retailers are so desperate to exploit Christmas. Just play your music and put out your decorations out Black Friday like you're supposed to. No point in starting three months early. Or playing holiday music until the new year.

When my father was a kid they, as well as most people, bought and decorated their tree on Christmas Eve.

I love Christmas, baw! When I started my car, it was still set to 96.1 because Christmas!!! It will stay there until January or until 96.1 begins playing crap music again!

Nothing wrong with still playing Christmas music, but most of the 'modern' Christmas music is pure trash to me...
