Who saw this movie? Just getting home from it and it is an interesting story. NFL gets painted in a terrible light but that should come as no surprise.

I have no doubt that participation rates for football will decline over the coming decades but I do not think it is necessarily a bad thing. Love watching the sport but I understand individuals deciding to play something else with lower long term risk.

Did they show the part where Goodell screwed over the Saints?

I watched the Frontline on it and Will Smith aggravates me now so I'm going to pass. But it's a pretty good story for the public to hear just because frick goodell.

It was so vanilla.

It was Oscar-bait light...on tap, watered-down with lame dialogue and a lemon on top to suck on the sour.

I just saw it on kodi and it was better then what I expected. When they showed the part of Nate Parker's collision in slowmotion and showed the brain with blood leaking out I understood the situation a lot better then before. There are always two sides of the story and was very interesting from the doctor's side of it. I feel like now players know the risk of ct3 now better then ever and they know the consequence of life after football now. Even in the movie I hated roger goodell and I was cursing at him lol. I am not a big will smith fan like I used to as a kid but he was good in the movie and I would recommend it.

Bump, this is on Starz now and I've caught it a couple of times.

Let's get this out of the way first: Luke Wilson as Goodell?...lolwtf. It didn't weigh the film down, though because they pretty much let him skate with a few lines.

Aside from that and Baldwin's in & out Louisianna accent, this was a solid movie and some of Smith's best work. Pace-wise it kind of simmered along like Moneyball to me. The Pittsburgh setting and Newton-Howard's score were on point, and David Morse's short appearance as Mike Webster was heartbreaking.

I had no idea what to expect going in and enjoyed it despite a couple shortcomings.

Concussion? The soft porn lesbian hooker movie starring Jax Teller's wife Tara?
First forwarded it to see the real Tara, but nada.
