We always go the snack route. Kids and grandkids coming over. Good times. We made taco dip, white messican cheese dip with sausage, veggie pizza, cracker barrel cheese and summer sausage with crackers, phyllo cups stuffed with Billy's boudin and green onion and lil' weiners with sweet baby ray's bbq sauce and too many cookies, fudge and sweets to name. What are ya'll doing? Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS F&D BOARD! This board rocks

We're away from home at a VRBO house with so so pots and pans. Had a decent grill, though, so we had burgers, deviled eggs, curly cue fries, etc.
Lunch was at a local grill pub. The highlight was their pub chips: house made potato chips, served with malt vinegar and horseradish/blue-cheese dipping sauce. I'm not a big fried food fan, but those were damned good.

My wife's family is mostly east coast wasps in the financial sector.
So it's what they have every day.
