LSU just wasn't very good. LF is spectacular....that is the extent of talent on our team this year. Dupre played well at times as did Dural. Trying, but can't find any other standout talent.

What are you talking about? We had great talent this year! Coaching held us back especially in that game

Remember that whole week when everybody was like "I'm so scared because they've already played and it's our first game" then after the game everybody bitched anyway.

bitch about how that game went down.

we got out to such an awesome slart. things looked so promising (lots of excitement for the offense), then miles went back to miles and got conservative.. they got back in the game, and fortunately they missed a fg.. bc otherwise we nearly blew it all. he really could have made the fg too, it wasn't all far fetched.

i gladly take the wins, but that game definitely left us feeling extremely frustrated.

The melt that day would have been a big one. Would have lessened the melt of being dominated at Alabama

THIS!!!

The first half of that game was pretty damned impressive, especially for being our very first half of the season. Miles completely shut it down in the second half and played not to lose, and as a result, damn near did. A bunch of three and outs and next thing you know Moo U has all the momentum.

Keep the foot on the pedal and play to win and no way it comes down to praying for their kicker to miss a field goal. But that is not Miles' philosophy. The second half of this game was the very essence of why so many people are so damn frustrated with our mule-headed, stubborn head coach.

The first half was exciting, it looked like Miles had opened the offense up. Im sure Miss States adjustments in the second half explains our lack of production. The problem is Miles never seems to counter the adjustments.

LSU had an 80 yard TD called back and a huge run by LF called back that was basicly setting up another TD.

If you want to talk about lucky. MSU was lucky to be in that game. Take a reality check.

Not really. MSU adjusted accordingly in the second half and LSU did not. Fortunately for LSU there wasn't enough time.

Yes really. The game would have been out of reach had it not been for several costly penalties by LSU. That is not speculation but fact.

LSU held State to 43 yards rushing.

You can try to replay the game on message boards for 100 years and the score would still be LSU-21 State-19. I think that is LSUs 16th win in the last 17 games. You cant change that either.
