Bridgewater didn't play, so some of the improvement could have been from playing a true center almost the entire game, instead of a 6'3" fullback.

That's why the next two weeks on LSU's schedule are so critical. Consecutive home games against Oral Roberts, American and Wake Forest afford the Tigers the opportunity to synchronize their offense and defense while bolstering their RPI and win-loss record in the process. "Ben can have phenomenal nights, but there's still some things he's trying to figure out at this level," Jones said. "And they are trying to figure out how to play with each other, how those guys play off of each other. Defensively is something we've got to hang our hat on. We've got to rebound the basketball. But I think we still can be a high-powered. efficient basketball team that can shoot a good percentage night in and night out."

They looked better but need to gel really quickly. Having Vandy and UK on the road to start the SEC is terrible.
