I do not find it acceptable. I'm just saying i think ole baw did something to them that he's not telling us.
I did say i "think". Just discussing the issue. No big deal.

I thought maybe there was another 'accidental' shooting.

Disagree. Intelligence is directly related to the ability to use reason over emotion.

I will say another thing that I think bencoleman alluded to, and that is the expectations police officers have for one another, their culture. It needs to change.
I think it was best illustrated when those cops in New Orleans had a guy cuffed on the ground, face down, and started beating the crap out of him. A female cop said, "Wait, guys, let me turn off the camera." And then she walked to the unit and turned it off.
The situation perplexed people because this female cop had a spotless record, not one infraction. Why would she tarnish it? Why did she do that if she were, by all accounts, a good cop? It's about the expectations cops have for one another. It breeds an "us versus them" mentality. And, like bencoleman said, that can be very dangerous when, in their eyes, self-preservation comes before public service.

Why did he just not turn at the red light?
Where he did actually turn is pretty dangerous with the traffic there.

People turn left on 4 lane highways all the time. I've never seen a cop write a ticket for it before.

Looks like his main beef is with Walker PD.. I can attest to the suckiness that is WPD.

Whats up with people buying in to Facebook bullshite?
A girl I know posted a message as a joke saying someone's been sending her nude pictures and they won't stop, so she's posting a link to their page calling them out. When you click on the link it brings you to your page. People started blocking her and treatening to report her if she doesn't take their page down.
Facebook regulars aren't the brightest group of people.

Individually, most cops aren't bad. They are pretty decent. It only takes that ONE time where you frick up and another cop says, "Hey, don't worry. I'll back up your play." You owe them, and soon they will owe you. That's when things can start getting out of control quickly.
Here's the thing- that's not true. Most cops individually are mentally underdeveloped douchebags out to prove something.
It's only when you set the "decency" bar at "not openly corrupt/sociopathic" that you can say that most are "pretty decent".

Usually when there isn't an alternative 25 ft before.
He did this to get the attention

So, you're a cop, eh? How often do you write tickets for people turning left on a 4-lane highway with double yellow lines?
You could really rake the revenue in.

No
Shouldn't have gotten a ticket but he asked for the attention.
Both are dumb

Walker PD are a bunch low life pricks as I first starting to learn in May of 2005. Their lieutenant gave me a ticket on the interstate for not being 7 car lengths behind. I was going to see him in court but as a couple cops and a family member at the court house told me its his word against yours and nothing you can do about it.
Friendly reminder to anyone but anytime you get pulled over or approached by a cop, record it. Know your rights and exercise them.

As long as it isn't against the law it shouldn't matter. WPD didn't have to step up. It's a bad situation. Somebody should do something to defuse things before it escalates any further than it has. I'm sure everyone involved are decent enough people and they all live in the same community.
