do not waste a meal on the riverwalk
down south alamo alone there are a ton of places...hot joy, feast, B&D ice house, friendly spot etc. in the pearl there are probably a dozen restaurants all better than anything at the riverwalk

there is one place that's decent. its an italian joint near the end. bella on the river.
