I'm sure UL-Lafayette would like to have a few more talks with Ole Miss about their boy.

Do not want. I know a lot of people will disagree but I consider it a huge red flag when a kid leaves his high school before their senior year to go to a school among the likes of IMG academy.

but the same posters are crying for us to sign Joyner who was dismissed from his team for unknown reasons. Pot meet kettle, I actually don't shame the kid(Shea). He accomplished everything at Calvary and transferred for better development and coaching in hopes of playing as a college freshman. I actually think he's handled himself accordingly, despite the family issues many complain about we have yet to see any proof of it other than his brother riding the jet stream. All boils down to a bunch of sour grapes if you ask me.

Yeah, I also don't want any quarterback that Ole Miss, Alabama, and Ohio State is recruiting. They haven't had very much success at the quarterback position.

Pulease! No such thing would have happened regardless.

The system he was in and talent advantage his team had in HS made him look far better than he was.

He stood out, excelling at camps. Patterson is on another level and I believe the next 3 years will bear witness to that.

And you do realize OM was another miracle play away from losing the Bama game? Point is your comment is stupid as there are many lucky plays in a season (maybe not as obvious as the Arky play) but many.

You are wrong..........

I'd take Shea, it's his family that worries me.

What talent advantage are you talking about?? At Calvary he only had 2 D1 offensive players around him and didn't beat some trash teams....he was beating Louisiana 5A powerhouses that had way more talent. Then goes to IMG and competed against the nations best... An a few of there games they won BECAUSE of Patterson. Like I said back when we were in the running for him I would love to have him at LSU but he will go to Ole Miss and have a pretty good career and probably beat a lot of their QB records....LSU had its chance and had him in the bag but chose to go with Frank's and now we have neither.

I don't know why we're even discussing this.

Patterson isn't coming here. End of story.

OM best players over the past 3 seasons were not from the 2012 class outside of treadwell. They were the 2010 and 2011 Houston Nutt classes

Dude. Please. If you were to amend this to say that last year and the year prior there were really good players there from the Houston Nutt classes, you'd have a better argument. But the past 3 years implies this season. There just aren't any 6th year players on the team this year, and something like 5 5th year players, the majority of which are linemen.

And last year there just weren't that many Houston Nutt signees on the starting spot in the 2 deep. Sure, there were some. But more starting spots went to freeze recruits than Nutt recruits.

Are you just guessing at this or something?

This is football talk here with "Shea the pre-madonna" but I will put it this way 'Patterson
is playing ss but he's not your best ss, that kid is playing 2nd base'..politics people Would you pay
60K for your son to play high school football ONE year.
Louisiana was not good enough for him. I watched Primus play IMG and was unimpressed by SP, I'll take the 2nd baseman

Only problem is we don't even have the second baseman. For that matter, we don't even have the backup catcher.

Patterson is the best qb in this class

He will attend alabama

He will lead them to 2 national titles

He will be first alabama qb to win heisman....with guidance of lane Kiffin

Both presidents clinton will offer to sleep with him

If you can, you take Patterson. Regardless of the baggage.
