His career started going downhill once he had his own writers make changes to a script to make it more "Will Smith-y"

I don't think it's a single movie. He seemed to be slowing down in general. Maybe it was just an accumulation of people getting tired of his cocky persona, and a change in culture of Hollywood away from the dominance of the movie star who sold tickets solely by being in a movie.

I know that I had gotten tired of him long before this movie came out. I haven't seen a movie by him in well over 10 years.

Nah, I think that piece of shite that he and his wife squirted out back in 98 is the actual beginning of the end of his career.

I think the only Will Smith movie I have not be entertained by or thought was bad was Wild Wild West (have not seen After Earth)

The rest I enjoy, but I think the only one I went to the movies to see was I Am Legend. The rest I catch on HBO or DVD.
