True dat! It's what has gotten me through the last 4-5 weeks.

Pacers making this score look a lot more respectable than this game was
Posted on 12/8/15 at 8:19 pm to Roger Klarvin
well that would be the longest winning streak in NBA history so yea probably

Right? This was an arse kicking, the Warriors just checked out too early

Draymond Green is a great player but he seems like a thundercount

Would be funny if the Utah Quinsanity ended it on the 23rd

He's the only trendy "unlikable" Warrior, IMO.
(Unless you talk to the resident Rocket fans who hate Steph for some reason. Given that Harden is their crowned prince and how they all #knightforDwight, I think that says all you need to know about them.)

I will say that the first game GS drops this season will probably follow a similar script:
--Dubs blitz 'em early/build a big lead
--Take their foot off the gas
--Opponent makes a crazed rally out of nowhere
--Warriors can't get it back in gear quickly enough to quell the comeback
I think that scenario is more likely than them having an awful shooting night as a team, at this point.

So true

Oh I agree with that for sure. The last regular season game they lost (in New Orleans) was kinda like that. They were killing us and we made a run to take the lead and then held on for dear life.
When this team is trailing, it's like they go into another gear. I was shitting myself all of game 3 in the playoffs because I knew it was coming, and we all know how that ended.

Last time we played GS in the playoffs was 2013, before they'd discovered "God Mode" as a team. And that was still stressful as frick
It messes with your head a little, knowing they can erupt for a 20-0 run for no goddamn reason No lead feels safe.

Just knowing that it could start raining 3s at any possible moment is fricking terrifying.

Or awesome as hell, depends on what side you're on.

Of course
To be fair, the Warriors have hit that point where it's so much fun to watch them that I love to see them doing their thing. My poor Pels aren't quite on that championship contender level just yet anyway so it's nice to have a dominant, fun squad doing historic things.

You want to know something embarrassing? When I met my husband and moved from BR to the Bay Area after we married, I didn't even know there was a team here. He's been a fan forever so this has been a very special time. He remembers when you could pick up tickets pretty cheaply. The price of becoming an NBA championship team: expensive tickets.

72-10 will not be the best record in NBA history when this year is over.

Needless to say the Warriors are fricking absurd
They're the most fun team to watch in years and if they stay healthy they're coming for 72.
