Diarse just broke loose on a 74 yard run for a touchdown!

Diarse has close to 200 yards by now...

Neville is up 38-20 with 5:17 left in the 4th quarter.

Have you ever seen 14 run? He runs twice has big as he is. That's why I'm saying if not for the size differential the senior would get the nod. Just saying their is no drop off between QB1 and QB2 on this team.

Other than Friday Night Highlights all I saw of Neville was against WM. They walked down the field with #7 on the first drive. After that maybe 40-50 yards the rest of the game. #7 looked far superior and has looked the same on TV. Looking at your posts, seems like you favor #14. That's cool, agree to disagree.

Doesn't surprise me. They were really a great team that dominated all year. Congrats.

McCarty and his staff at Neville have done an amazing job with that program. He's a great coach.

Does Diarse have any college offers? I know he's small but the kid's a stud.

Doubtful. He's listed at 5'6" 140. That's just too small for the next level. He has another year to gain some weight though. I wish him the best.

Trent Taylor from Evangel is a perfect example. He's only 5'8" and has been amazing at Tech. There is a lot of those guys out there that are passed up because of size and end up becoming huge contributors for their team.

And he is 2" taller and 40lbs heavier.

I favor whomever gives us the best chance to win. And if you didn't at least see 14 play last week against Easton then that scrimmage isn't a very good sample size. He showed he was just as good of a decision maker and QB on that drive against Karr alone to put Neville up for good. Cole merely had size and athleticism with less accuracy. 14 can run just as hard as 7. They're both Tigers and without someone like 14 to handle things when Cole was out, Neville might not have even won last week. I'm just letting you know your assertion it would've been an up-hill battle without 7 is misplaced because 14 can run that offense just as well as 7.

I don't know how heavy Trent was when he came to Tech but your right he does have two inches on Diarse. Your right about needing to gain some extra weight next year. I hope he comes to Tech we will find a way to use him no matter his height.
