Anyone remember the glory years when we used to play in this game? I want to thank the sunshine pampers for freeing up an extra weekend for me for at least another year.

2007
2011
1 appearance in the last 8 years. Not exactly elite.

Bama has years that are considered failures even though they win a SEC Championship. Not really sure what we consider a successful season at LSU anymore.

Wrong board. Admins should move thread to SEC Rant for duration of Miles tenure here.

Bama will likely be there every year until Saban retires. He will be better than Bear Bryant if he wins another title, which is imminent.

just finishing the season is successful at LSU now. Music city bowls are considered excellent finishes.

It is depressing to watch Bama compete for another SECC while LSU holds its breath for a potential Citrus Bowl berth. Bama and Auburn both have more SECCs than LSU since 2007.
