re: Did Coach Miles lose the fire in his belly for coaching?

I can't say this. I just think the team simply isn't that good outside of a few good players.

Spot on Altair. Tharold Simon got torched by Moncrief and taken behind the barn by Hopkins in the bowl game. Les should have said Tharold you're not ready for the big lights. Montgomery appeared to mail it in but Simon declaring for the draft shocked me.

I couldn't care less what you think of me. Yes, I know how buyouts work.
You're suggesting he's a big mean evil doer that's here to drive the LSU football program into the ground.
While he rubs his hands together thinking of his next thing to do, that big mean Miles.
Idiot.

I agree, they love Miles they will run through a brick wall for him. It's coaching and LSU pays a premium for it. Time to evaluate the coaches.

I'd lose fire to do my job too if the governor kept it secure

No, it's clear you dont actually know what you're talking about. Miles knows he will be forced out the door next year- he is raking in 2 years worth of salary (8 million) plus the buyout after he is shownt he door (8+15= greater than 15 Afterwards we will have a pitiful coaching search and by that point the program will have been in such a ruin that we will be strugglign just to make it to a bowl. I hope you all enjoyed the winning seasons while they lasted

Speaking of not knowing what one is talking about, how do you know this?
By all means, explain it to me. Since it's a fact and all.

We probably wouldn't know about it if he did do this
If so, he's a bold face lie than because he said several times he knew nothing and never talked to Aleva

What Altair is saying is to stay on top you have to embrace change. Belichick will run the ball 45 times vs Colts then 3 times vs the Jets. Miles just uses the same gameplan held together with Elmer's Glue and tape expecting to catch an elite opponent off guard.

I disagree with that. He's dumping on Miles, he's certainly entitled to his opinion but where it goes over the line is how he's saying it like there's definitive proof of it. Like Miles' sole purpose in life now is to suck the life out of every LSU fan and player. It's ridiculous.

I have no problem with that. I, too, thought Miles was in trouble. He kept his job and it's done.
The incessant whining about how terrible Miles is, as coach, person, whatever, at this point, almost a week later, is similar to a kid screaming until he gets what he wants.
That's what I'm trying to point out to the alter, er, Altair.

Coach Miles lost more than fire in his belly. The man needs to "Reprogrammed" himself and adapt a new modern philosophy for winning football games. As a die-hard Tiger fan, I do not see it forthcoming.
LSU is dying for new energy badly and creating a "Fighting Tiger" attitude, not this laidback mess and remaining quiet. Miles coaches against other coaches with respect. The opponent coaches do not respect him. That says it all. Change your approach, philosophy and mindset and the Tigers might do something great.
Wishful Thinking ...

They do not respect him because they know he's here to steal money from the community, not to actually coach any football games. I've been saying this for some time now but nobody wanted to listen- until now, that the scam has been exposed. Can someoone EXPLAIN WHY we are keeping this fraud? I can tell you, our AD and his staff is a joke and haven't an iota of competence when it comes to coaching decisions. This is why when Miles leaves we will actually be worse off than we are now.

Somebody posted a chart showing early entries during his 11 years. The numbers have literally doubled from those first 4-5 seasons. The 06 and 11 teams were his most talented. But the 07 team was senior laden but obviously very lucky that Pat White from West Va broke his hand and that Tennessee was the opponent in the SEC title game.

Do you not understand what's involved in being the coach of a top tier program like LSU? Or any program for that matter? Do you think they just show up on Saturday and wing it? Those guys work their tails off.

Funny.
Last year our players get stomped on. Pussies.
This year, players finish the play once helmet comes off. Undisciplined.
frick our fans. Make up your fricking mind already.

This is the guy on the Miles hater side. Good company.
LSU has been leading the sec in ticket sales. He's making money for the community. He pays $260k a year in taxes. Every business sees a boost in sales during football season.
