How can Alexander be ok with paying a coordinator that has shite results 1+ mill per year while the professors are going hungry at LSU?

Because Bobby Jindal didn't tell him not to be ok with it.

Looking like BDP will be the odd man out. Miles will be lucky if his heavy hitters survive the hiring frenzy. I still don't think Franks will take the bait. Harris has been on campus for 2 years and only runs about half the plays Mett was getting the green light for.

Wasteful spending is wasteful spending no matter the amount.

I can't even begin to tell you how naive this post is.

100,000 people don't pay money to watch professors teach. And no professor is "going hungry."

And you also realize that the athletic department contributes millions to the academic side of the school each year, right?

To be honest, that's what he should say.

Regardless whether you think Miles should or shouldn't be the head coach, as as he is he absolutely should be the one to determine who is on his coaching staff and what their roles are.

Can't a failure season of 2 plus years bring about a re-negotiation of a coaches contract? I mean PAID TO FAIL, I just can't understand how the coaches rob the damn schools and trick them for large raises & extension for having 8-5 minus or plus for several years Who the hell in Athletic Dept. is responsible for this huge unbelievable 15 Million buyout. Really - not even Saban has that, but it is because he wants that. But March Richt was only verbally owed 4 Million and they GA. choose to honor that buyout. Seems Aleva and others fell for a sham to raise and extend his contract every year when there have been concerns every year but 2007 and 2011 an then the unforgivable NC do over with BAMA. Many AD's would have fired a coach for that kind of showing and stubbornness and misuse of players and talent on the field. I swear I do not get the present situation LSU currently finds itself.

In the article Alleva said he told Miles he was staying before the game. I call bullshite. Miles sure didn't look and act like he knew that

Nothing will change. Unless Miles completely steps away from the offense it will be the same. We will beat teams where we have clear talent advantages and then as the talent gap shrinks we will begin to struggle. There needs to be some unpredictability and varying formations.

Even Saban doesn't run his bull shite offense. That should tell him something.

I'm on your side in this.
