don't let the snobs get to ya. Some of the FDB elite get the milk from the cows they raise, grow their own sugar cane and vanilla plants.and make their own ice cream in the creamery in their back yard.

That's a gross exaggeration, though some of us do grow our own herbs and some vegetables along with having fruit trees.

I suppose a few might have their own chickens, cattle and pigs. I can't recall reading about any slaughtering here, though.

Mo just doesn't like Blue Bell. He may not like people who do like it for all I know. I wouldn't worry about it. He's a good guy otherwise.

Well not to have my nose in the air because I'm more prone to have my thumb in my arse but we did have a friend bring fresh raw milk at Thanksgiving from his Woodville farm and another bring her eggs from her farm to ours and we sat on the front porch and made vanilla ice cream with our wooden bucket White Mountain ice cream maker. But it is electric not a hand crank and the vanilla flavor came out of a jar. I did pour some honey from our bees over the top.

Just sayin.
