the big boss tried to do something illegal, and someone pointed it out to him that it was illegal. Did not go well.
Someone in corporate stopped him from doing it though.

Heat treat vendor couldn't quench and temper some parts overnight. The parts were already late due to the poorly run machine shop.
Some of the managers decided to quench the parts in a trash hopper and call it good.
