Enjoy and report back please. The quality of their oysters has been great and I tip the shucker and ask for the big ones which I love raw especially this time of year. I have a function in LFT this evening or I would definitely join you!!

I like Black's and Dupuy's. I tend to prefer Dupuy's just from personal experiences with the service at their nice bar.

Ha. My mom is actually going to be in Abbeville play pokeno with her friends. My wife just sent me a text saying she doesn't feel well, so we may not be going after all.

you can't go wrong at either place. Shuck's is more open and loud, Dupuy's not as much. both places have great oysters, cold crisp draft beer, and good gumbo.

If you plan to go on a weekend, go in the middle of the day or be prepared to wait atleast one hour

Blacks has been open as a restaurant for at least the last 6-8 months. Ate there last week. Don't be an arse if you're not 100% sure about something.
