Amazon search tip

Try this again...
Maybe others know of this but just saw and thought cool.
On the Amazon site, type in the search what you are looking for. Once it comes up go into the urn and in front of Amazon type "omg"
This now pulls up all items that are 50% off.
Thought it was pretty cool.

Except that Amazon uses an inflated "list price" so that most things appear to be significantly marked down.
(No, I'm not CAD, and I do love Amazon, but their list prices are 99% BS)

Yep. Same thing can happen if a detail page was originally listed by a third party seller. When you create the page you can enter whatever you want for the MSRP and that's what they use to calculate the "savings". If the third party seller is creating a new listing, that usually means the product isn't already in their database. Later, if it's a popular item, Amazon starts selling it themselves and they just run with the original MSRP no matter how outlandish.
