You don't think his ego took a hit these past 2 weeks?

No, he came out smelling like a rose. He went from being gone to being carried off the field and made to look like a hero.

How would you feel if...

- Your boss tried to fire you, but your boss's boss vetoed it
- You showed up for your next shift and there were 100K screaming people chanting how awesome you are and how much they love you and holding up signs reflecting that
- All of your coworkers lifted you on their shoulders and carried you out at the end of your shift
- Your boss holds a press conference saying you're staying in your current job position

I can't speak for you or Coach Miles, but I'd say my ego would be feeling pretty good

Why is he waiting for his job to be on the line to fix the mess he created?

My opinion? Miles thinks his offense is good enough. And it is generally good enough to go 9-3. But it doesn't seem good enough to do better than that as of late. So why is he going to change?

I've been saying for years that Miles would figure it out. But I've finally lost confidence
