We see what happens if our defense plays well.

Everyone on the board constantly talks about Alabama. What separates us from them is the style of dominant defense they play.

If we don't figure out how to consistently perform defensively we will be average again and again.

Carry on with the offensive creativity bullshite. But the offense is the best of our three units.

Because our offense is putrid. We're not demanding Baylor style play, just competence, ball control, and discipline.

Defense wins championships, but you still have to score points. Hence, OFFENSE.

I agree.

We can win a lot of games with a good defense.

And that's all most of our fans expect anyway.

Offense is certainly over-rated.

If the D gets off the field, creates negative plays and turnovers. Mew score more points

Because the 2011 defense is no longer here to lean on.

People talk about the offense because of the talent we waste. Look at the former players now playing professionally and you'll realize the only thing holding us back is the play calling and quarterback development.

Cam needs to go and Miles needs to allow a new OC to run the offense. If not, we'll be doing this all over again in 11-12 months.

Yeah, since 2009 we have begged for our defense to be super so that we can win games. If the defense isn't super, we lose. That's not very realistic. If we could field just a half competent offense more than one year out of eight then maybe LSU fans wouldn't be 'obsessed with offense".

Defense doesn't win championships anymore, just enough does.

You don't need a Baylor or Chip Kelly Oregon offense, but you need to be able to play a track meet game if your defense doesn't come to play in a game.

What I see is the defense actually works if the offense gives them a reason to play
Kinda hard to play defense whem every time you do your job thw offense runs #7 up the middle three times and punts.

Because our offense is TORTURE to watch! We have four and five star guys all over the field and yet first downs and completed passes are minor miracles for us.

Then to rub salt in the wound, we cap our shite drives with shite punts!

And here now, my dear philosophy students, is the dawn of the reformation... a new page in the history of Les apologetics. Suffering has turned into tolerance and then acceptance. What was once unthinkable is the new paradigm. What was once important is now forgotten. Now we rejoice that Mighty Offense, that system of scoring points, which, itself, is the very object of the game, is no longer a consideration. He's a dead idol and was always an object of false worship, anyway. Our fandom has a new higher purpose. We exalt the Man because he is the personification of good in the face of struggle. We accept our fate because the Journey carries more lessons than the Outcome, and we measure ourselves not by lofty expectations but by maintaining our dignity while others around us laugh.

Because I am often obsessed with something I've never seen before.

Why does most of the world want a ferrari? Because they can't have one...
