Behind C. Mac, he's also coached the most games. So obviously he should have the most wins. His overall winning percentage is .780 but SEC winning percentage is .700 (slowly declining every year) which is kind of in the middle of the pack when it comes to LSU coaches. Saban's winning percentage at Bama is .842. So miles was a better coach at LSU than saban was because his winning percentage was higher? Nah, dawg.

You realize that saying he coached a lot of games makes the highest percentage card even better, right?

The winning percentage argument is stupid not for your reasons but because it weighs the totality of his career and not the current arc we're on the past 4 years. what les miles was is not necessarily what he may be now. Do people think Miles could replicate that winning percentage over the next five years? If the answer to that is no then his career winning percentage is irrelevant

So Saban's winning percentage at Bama means he was a better coach than Miles while at LSU? Makes sense to me.

Oh and UAB

Because it's so easy to win in the SEC West right now. By the way, only one other west school has less than 3 losses. Just saying. It's not as easy as you young kids think. I'm ready for change but give the man credit.

Who says he can't?

If we finish the season with two wins, we're 9-3 (75%). So in a year were talking about firing him, we still could be almost at his average.

Jackass.

I hope you realize, the fact that he's coached the most games and still has the highest winning percentage makes you look even stupider.

They play more games a year now, more cupcakes, thus higher winning percentage.

Les has a 78% win record. For a 12 game season, that's 9.36 wins per year. If you took out a cup cake each year, and factor in that Les has never lost in the regular season OOC, he'd have an average of 8.58 wins per year. Comparing those two numbers, you could infer he'd have an even higher win percentage if he played one less game per year. So let's just stop with that argument.

According to Buggar McFarland a couple of days ago on the Finebaum show - Miles is 13 and 10 in SEC games for the last three seasons. That is 56.5% He says it looks like a "Downward Spiral"
