According to Buggar McFarland a couple of days ago on the Finebaum show - Miles is 13 and 10 in SEC games for the last three seasons. That is 56.5% He says it looks like a "Downward Spiral"
The same media, especially ESPN that has been blasting Les continuously since the Alabama fiasco is now making villains out of LSU followers for even thinking that he should be let go now that it has been determined that it will happen. In three days Les has risen from "At best a mediocre coach" to now " One of the all time greatest"
OP DALSU, Are you related to DAL4FSU the poster on the FSU blog who indicated you didn't think Jimbo was making $8,000,000 a year as he stated on his radio show in response to a caller who warned Jimbo that the Gators play their best games against good teams? Jimbo stated "I get $8,000,000 to prepare this team, how much do you get"? It was determined that he actually gets $5,000,000........ Maybe the similarity of the names is just a strange coincidence?
Finebaum just said that it would have to be obvious that the team was aware of a player's infraction for any action to be taken against the team.

re: Miles outcoached Spurrier?

In his post game interview Spurrier, referring to Shaw said something like "He must have gotten hit in the head early in the game. He made some foolish decisions. Did he get hit in the head". I couldn't believe he was throwing his QB under the bus like that. Show that to a SC prospect. I think he is going to wound up doing something like Woody Hayes did?
Tom Bergin's owner is from New Orleans - Brother Martin Grad and a big time Saints and LSU fan.

Tom Bergin's Tavern on South Fairfax 323-936-7151. The new owner, Brandon Boudet is from New Orleans and is a life long Tiger fan. He's doing something special for every Tiger and Saints game. His Jambalaya cooked in the parking lot Sunday for the Saints game was great.

HEY, Boot, Tom Bergin's Tavern is going to be a great place in that area to watch all Saints and LSU Games. The place has a big time Saints/LSU connection. Brandon Boudet, born and raised New Orleans Westbanker, Saints and LSU fan and Brother Martin graduate and his business partner Warner Ebbink who own three other Hollywood area hot spots bought Bergin's and spent 8 months restoring the 76 year old Landmark restaurant, Irish pub and sports bar (the inspiration for cheers). They plan on carrying all Saints and LSU Games on their Big Screen TV's and will have something special for each game. Sunday, Brandon will be cooking Jambalaya in the parking lot.

Flew out of New Orleans Wednesday at 8:30 AM on a United flight. The plane was full and 90% of the passengers were going to the game. I bet that same flight on Thursday and Friday was 100% LSU.
Damn, just bought a $49 purple LSU shirt from Tyger Gifts in Metairie, Think they will exchange it for a gold one????

The university sued Sir Allen for claiming to be a direct descendant of Leland Stanford and also turned down a substantial donation from him. I feel sorry for all those Exxon folks who lost their life's savings. Justice may never be served.
