Regardless of who the new coach is...this is the bar that has been set.

I do not expect a national title every year but I expect the last game to be a game where we can go to Atlanta if we win once every say 2 or 3 years.

There's a stark difference between the condition of the team when Saban left and the condition now that Les is leaving. Anyone expecting those results is a fool.

As long as there is an actual game plan and ability to adapt (which is almost 100% reason Les is getting a ton of shite)... we'll be ok.

No the bar is not falling flat on your face three years in a row whilst losing in embarrassing fashion to your most important opponents. All most rational people want is for us to consistently be competitive in every game and to play to our potential.

Why did you leave out Les's year 4 through 10?

somewhat depends on junior departures, but otherwise you're way off...

The new coach has to beat Bama next year and win the SEC
Anyone saying otherwise is either lying or cannot justify firing the best coach in the history of the program.

Miles is leaving a team wth a lot of upperclassmen that started the season 7-0, two upperclassmen QBs, arguably the country's best RB, and what is still a top 5 recruiting class in waiting.
If there is a drop off in what's been left behind, I don't think it's by much.

The roster in 2016 will be filthy. The new coach had better win the SEC.

Correct. The cupboards are full to the brim. Plus a top 3 class coming in (will depend if new coach can hold it together)
247 Composite Rankings:
Now get Saban's nuts off your chin.

give them a break, in their mind the program is at Curly Hallman levels

This is correct.

The new coach has to come in and hold together a class that is falling apart because we are firing our head coach.
Then he needs to take a very experienced team, with the best RB in a generation, a talented QB with a year of experience, a WR Corp that everyone says is great but hasn't achieved and beat Bama and win the SEC.

False as false can be. The bar is the last two years under Miles. The Saban comparison is dead upon the entrance of our new coach.
Can the new coach be more .500 in league play? That is the bar. If the new coach does better than .500,it will be an improvement.

Even if Bama stomps us for the third time in a row with the best RB ever at LSU?

At the end of the day, the goal is to simply be competitive with every opponent. And yes win.
