No fricking clue why you would say this considering they have beaten you 4 of the past 5 times and like going to be 5 out of 6 after Saturday.

Against arguably the worst UF coach in UF history.

Jimbo's offense against Meyer coached teams was pedestrian.

But you guys hire him. I'm sure you won't regret it.

Good thing Meyer isn't coaching at UF anymore, but hey, Mcelwain is much better HC, right?

The funny thing is you have no idea if it was close to happening or not.

Nah. I'm enjoying watching LSU make a UT like decision. Which is sad. I like LSU.

UT? Wanna know how I know you're stupid and that you haven't watched our games? Or even know our sec record the last few years? Especially against Bama, ole miss and arky?

Let me guess, you saw the Billy Cannon punt return in person and you stormed the field after we beat Florida in '97.

So strong won a NC?

Help my memory.
Further more, you don't even know whose gonna be on the staff if it is fisher.

And your opinion is not worth much if you don't think jimbo's offense wouldn't be an extreme upgrade over what we have now.

One of the big cigars was there and pretty much said the same thing you did. Said Saban and them had a handshake deal assuming that the Mack situation was done properly.

When that whole mess went down he got cold feet. The big brass at UT was pissed

One of the billionaire donors (Joe Jamail, a feared trial attorney) threatened to sue if they fired Mack Brown without the proper severance package and a job at UT as special assistant (I think).

That was just enough to muck things up. Whether Jamail did it on purpose, I don't know for sure. But it scared off Saban.

It was ugly.

Yep. Just as I expected. It was all quiet on the Bama front as we knew Texas was in talks with sexton. It looked like the fact Mack had to be drug kicking and screaming to the curb ruined it for Saban. Maybe next time!!!

What exactly is this special inside information that somehow Gumps don't know about but Corndogs do?

Should have held out for Herman. Watching the two teams this year (and last year's OSU) I'd be WAY more afraid of Herman. As a UF fan I approve of the hire.

Of course, you do because it gets Fisher out of your state.

You mean like the Zook and Muschamp decisions. Be glad your AD gets every other football coaching hire right.

Mack Brown wanted more money to leave than contract buyout provided

Mack Brown is the best politician I've seen in my life. But the thing is, all his nice-guy stuff isn't bullshite. He really is nice and decent. Mack for Senator?

And to stay thread-related: Good for LSU, if true.
