Seriously, apart from some message board charter and some hunches from a few reporters a couple of days ago, things have been pretty quiet. LSU is getting slammed in the media over what? Where are the actual leaks?

If LSU does get Jimbo, it will all be forgotten. If they don't they will stick with Miles and it will all be forgotten. Either way, LSU is okay.

And, if Miles is truly gone, that is just because it was time.

But, it has been way more quiet in this situation than other situations like this that I have seen. Too quiet, actually.

There are no "leaks" just trolls, gossip queens and attention whores

All the more reason to believe that Jimbo is a done deal.

Shouldn't you have quoted the word leaks, and not supposed?

There is a reason. Delicate surgery in process. Have you ever observed surgery? It is traumatic when you commence and then silence as the intricate procedures are in process.

Miles is gone-the radio show confirmed that. The only "leak" is what people perceive was a leak to Scott Rabalais from Aleeva, and even that can not really be confirmed. Everything else is speculation, filling in the gaps, alleged sources, etc.

Perhaps they're trying to salvage what they can in allowing Miles to leave on whatever terms he wants as a small sign of respect? At this point, the administration has absolutely no choice but to show him the door now. Whether that Alleva leak was real or not he's responsible for this and it was a really shitty way at doing it despite me agreeing Miles needs to go.

Maybe they'd like to keep it more quiet until after the game against TAMU so it's not a huge distraction on the players either.

Perhaps. There have been leaks from somewhere. I am just not sure if they are valid or not. That is what I was trying to convey. Maybe should have thought that through more, but it is a message board and, well, you know.

Some people have better things to do on Thanksgiving than worrying about football.

Alleva doesn't give a rats arse about Miles and the last thing he will show him is respect. The total lack of respect was evident the day Alleva refused to show up at a meeting between Chavis and Alleva the Miles had arranged.

Alleva is classless.

ESPN trying to break this story right now would be the kiss of death. The silence is good IMO but I still kinda think this is all a play to get Jimbo a raise at FSU

It's thanksgiving and people are spending time with family. There is a game Saturday so things have quieted down

Jimbo doesn't need a raise, he is making 5 million now.

But could FSU pay him 6 million?

My bad. That was a sketchy way to put it. The Les Miles show was basically an hour long farewell complete with crying and all kind of indirect statements inferring he was on his way out.
