If Jimbo is hired, can we possibly keep Frank Wilson, Orgeron, Steele on staff?

I am sure he will want his own people, but I wonder if he would be able to keep those coaches? Would be great if he could.

Steele absolutely needs nothing to do with scheme or coordinating. I'd take him as director of player personnel though.

Or keep as an LB coach. Dude can recruit and I want him mobile and not having to just sit in BR.

ETA: But now way he goes from DC to LB coach at the same school.

I think Frank needs to be an OC first. Not too many places willing to turn over their program to a running backs coach. Larry Porter was a miserable failure at Memphis.

If Jimbo wanted them on staff and they wanted to stay then yes.

Pretty simple stuff.

Why not he did it at Alabama?

Didn't he leave and then come back? Or was he straight demoted?

Thought he went from AHC/LB coach at Bama to > DC at Clemson to > office job (player personnel) at Bama > to LB coach again at Bama.

Recruiting purposes. He would be fine as a LB coach or player personnel director.

They're keeping Oregon, Wilson, and Raymond.

Steele is fine as long as he is not DC.

Wilson and Orgeron are the only two I really want like everyone else.

LSU fans need to accept the fact that Frank won't be at LSU forever. He wants to be a head coach.

We want Raymond. Guy is every bit the recruiter as those other two and the secondary woes are from Steele's scheme this year, not him. They were great every other year under him with Chavis here.

I know and that is so damn sad

That guy has brought has brought just absurd amounts of elite talent to LSU over the years. Quite the legend.
