You are going to have to trust me that I know a good bit about that LSU weight room and S&C program, and Moffitt is the best in the business. There is a reason that schools are lining up to hire his GAs and assistants

Moffitt has won S&C Coach of the Year more than once. He's actually employed by LSU, not the football program like most assistant coaches.

I agree, but why would we want to get rid of TM?

You might call him a clown now 'cause he's at Bama,

Has nothing to do with him being at Bama. It has everything to do with them ridiculous videos I keep seeing three weeks ago in Bryant Denny Stadium. If I were a Bama fan I would be embarrassed that they show that stupid crap in the stadium.

but you'd LOVE him in P&G.

As long as they weren't showing videos of him screaming like a lunatic during the game.

All that being said, their is no way in hell he ever comes back to LSU.

Then Bama, Florida, and FSU are all doing internet workouts too

Forgot Jeff Dillman left Florida this year. So maybe Florida has non-internet workouts

Well, that wasn't in your response, so I never spoke to that.

Why do you care? If the players love it and it gets them pumped up, then wouldn't you be cool with that?

I don't understand that logic. Would you prefer LSU has a bunch of accountant-types on the sideline?

I think when Moffitt decides to leave, then LSU might have a chance to get him.

Since we are looking at every single thing....do you feel that the Tigahs are getting their ankles taped properly before practice and games?

You tell me? I have no issues with TM or the training staff.

Videos of Cochran come across as very corny to me.

Thought you were being a bit sarcastic that being from LSU would not be a reason to come back.

Glad we agree he is an asset. What some don't understand is that the protege can surpass the master.

While many people that should know attest to TOMMY having checked out ...... "Rarely in the weight room anymore ". ( of course these are the same folks that have Played for the Tigers and say LSUs practices are a joke ) I think you can see it in his sideline demeanor. The guy used to be a force on the sideline. O well. I don't mean to bash TOMMY. There is No doubt he is a legend in his field and has produced more talent in his field than many can say in their field . He has a lot to be proud of .

Pmtiger is an uninformed idiot. And Cochran worked under Moffitt at John Curtis.

Cochran played under Moffitt At JC and was a GA under Moffitt at LSU. When Saban took the job at Alabama, he called Moffitt at the Sugar Bowl to offer him the job, but I guess you personally observe Moffitt on the job to get such great inside info.

This is accurate. Tommy is a legend. He has won the award and numerous others. Looks like most were from 97 to 2003. I am pretty sure the last one was 2003. The relevance of this to my posts would be to point out that 5 organizations honored Les Miles as National Coach of the Year in 2011.

I hope the new coach either brings in one of Tommys protege who are trying to really get that same recognition. Or the new leadership motivates Tommy to really kick it in gear.

Stevo.

No I do not personally observe Tommy to know. I trust the folks that tell me this that personally observe. They could be wrong . I confirm my belief with my own observations of TM on the sideline today compared to years gone by. Mostly the last three. Just like I confirm what these folks I trust tell me about practice by my observations on Saturday Nights on the field .

I am well aware that Saban wanted TM. I am well aware of the deal LSU made TM and I am well aware of TM desire to stay here for his kids at that time. The desire to go work for someone he admired more than most was trumped by stability and his family. He is a solid guy .

At any rate my OP was to wonder if Cochran would come with Jimbo. I think he would be an upgrade at this point . Before you jump that's an opinion based on observation and information from unnamed third parties
