Why aren't more people talking about Willie Fritz as a coaching candidate?

The guy's a serial winner and a program builder in the mold of Art Briles and Brian Kelly.
Turned around Blinn College, a program that had won only five games in the previous three seasons. He went 39-5 and lead the team to two JUCO national championships in his four years there.
Led University of Central Missouri to their first postseason appearance in 32 years and their first ever playoff appearance in the history of the program. He left the school as the winningest coach in Central Missouri history.
Went to Sam Houston State and led them to back to back national championship game appearances.
Won the Sunbelt in Georgia Southern's first year of FBS competition. In non-conference play, Georgia Southern has been very competitive against teams from Power 5 conferences losing only 24-23 to NC State, 42-38 to Georgia Tech and the OT game against Georgia on Saturday.

People are reluctant to go to a Triple Option

I don't think he ran the triple option at Sam Houston

It's not a true triple option like Southern has ran in the past.

He is legit. He will get scooped up for sure. Sucks because I like him at Southern.

Hmm he has a Defensive background.
Maybe the triple option is just a byproduct of him letting an OC do his job, and matching offense to personal already there.

I've been saying him for over a year now.
And he doesn't run a triple option offense.

Because teams in power conferences rarely hire sun belt coaches, esp those without experience as assistants on power teams. AAC teams should look at him.

I keep seeing people say he doesn't run the TO when he does...It's just from the pistol instead of the quarterback under center. Their base play is the dive to a RB and a option with an A back or receiver in motion... they run some read option and traditional stretch, dive, and counter runs but is mostly a triple option. It's a really cool offense though.

We should get him if just so LSU can use the catchphrase "On the Fritz!" when we blow up other teams.

I'm literally watching some cutups from his time at Sam Houston right now on Hudl. While it looks like triple option with a pitch man, etc. it's zone. Zone with receiver motions mixed in for a pitch if the QB pulls. He runs a lot of zone, speed option, and power.
